PROGRAM

As done previously, the 11th European Hozonkai Championship will follow the traditional AKIHO Japan set-up, meaning it is split up in two main parts: individual judgement & ranking.

29 MaRCH

30 MARCH

  • Access to show grounds (07:30)

  • Opening ceremony (09:00-09:30)

  • Exhibition - part I: Individual judgement (09:45-13:00)

  • Lunchtime (13:00)

  • Exhibition - part II: Ranking (14:30)

  • Farewell dinner at Vald Hotel (20:00)

For participants needing AKIHO Nintei for dogs without an AKIHO pedigree, this year the certification examination will be integrated with the Daiichi Shinsa (Individual Judgment) phase. Instead of occurring the day before, the certification process will happen in the ring as each participant presents their Akita Inu. This adjustment streamlines the procedure, ensuring all Akita Inu meet AKIHO standards as part of their initial evaluation.

ACCOMODATION

While the Torino area offers a good a number of hotels and apartments that accept dogs, AKIHO Europe's personal recommendation is Vald Hotel in Val Della Torre. Its location is conveniently close to the show grounds and there is enough green around to take your dogs for a walk.

For further information, please visit Vald Hotel’s website or book a room via Booking.com.
